Good bearing press ... bad removal tool
Hansel P.The bearing press works great, I had no issues with it. However, the removal tool does not. It has a rubber o ring holding together the three metal plates that are used to drive out the bearing. The rubber keeps falling out and the pieces have to be fixed everytime that happens.
Great stuff. Good quality. Fast shipping.
Vlad K.Thanks for everything.
good value,fantastic service

Bottom bracket tool
David W.Good product.
Pretty Good
Sharn M.The BB removal tool is a little fiddly when trying to lock the ‘spring arm’ mechanism into the inside face of BB bearings. I recommend using a flat screwdriver to assist here. Not the best tool if you want to clean and reuse the BB at is can damage the plastic cup housing. But if you are going to install a new BB the tool is perfect. The BB installation tool is perfect. Does the job well is great value.
Flimsy
BEN S.Whilst in theory it's a good idea, the prongs of the removal tool are held on by a weak rubber band that moves under pressure if slightly off-centre. Quite disappointed. The install tool is fine, but there are better models out there.
One part good
Ryan D.Extractor is fiddly and the rubber band broke on the second use
Good price and gets the
Lance N.Good price and gets the job done with no fuss for what its designed for...
Does the job
Steven S.A good product at a sensible price. Made the job of replacing my BB an easy one.
Installer tool great, removal tool fiddly
Cam G.Installer tool works great, but the removal tool is a bit fidley. It's quite difficult to get the removal tool to lock inside the first bottom bracket cup prior to tapping it out. However for the price I like to consider it good valve even for just the installer as it's probably a tool I won't use that often, but handy when needed.
Press fit tool works fine, removal tool not so goo
MTB maniacThe splines on the removal tool are held on with nothing more than an O-ring. The idea is the splines slide back on the shaft and hold into place so you can hammer the bottom bracket out of your frame. I snapped the o-ring without even trying. I had to improvise with some O-rings which I had at home and they too snapped. At least it held together to get the chain ring side BB out. I was able to improvise on the other side with a large socket (about 26mm to memory) and a 1/2 drive extension bar, then I simply hammered on the extension bar to get the other BB out. No issues at all with the press tool...... a simple cap for each bearing then wind in the nuts with a 17mm spanner and/or socket. I suppose you can't complain for the price but now I need to look at ways of modifying the removal tool to make it reliable.
Does the job perfectly
