CraigBy: CraigI was hoping this would be lighter than some of the sturdier towball units. It probably isn't but the loaded bikes are closer to the vehicle which is better. Good points; well made, fits together well with a couple of options thought about for height. Can open the rear door fully without unloading bikes. Cons; Plate under the spare wheel needed modifying slightly for the large stud pattern of my 4wd. Supplied clamp was difficult to locate on front bike, if it has a low, angled toptube as on many mtb. Road bikes and small bikes probably ok.

Garry DouglasBy: Garry DouglasI recently purchased a spare tyre mounted folding bike rack. It was stated that the bike rack will fit 2 bikes, it does not fit 2 bikes as the wheel rails are to close together unless you want to lean the bikes over at an angle to fit them on. I don't think this is a satisfactory way to mount the bikes. Also the short bar to hold the inside bike is to long and not adjustable hence another reason for having to lean the bikes over to fit. I am not very impressed with this bike rack design. I now realise why it was cheaper than the other Ike racks.
