Andrew H.This is a great cheap alternative to an aging shock. I replaced a Mantitou 3 way swinger with this on my Giant Reign 3. It is heavier but I don't notice it. No more than a few chunks of dirt or a couple of hundred mLs in the Camelback anyway. Rebound dampening is quite effective and very adjustable, the spring is fairly stiff for my weight (75kg) but it works well and does not need much preload. Happy to recommend it.
