GrahamDoes exactly what you'd hope it would. Attach the mount to a board or the floor of your van then you take your front wheel off , sit your forks around the mount , put your 15mm axle through and do it up just like you would if your wheel was in there...and bingo! No need to lay your bike down in the back of your van anymore.
