The modular kit allows different combinations for different utilities. The rack cage can be removed by releasing the cleat and be replaced by the bag, so the bag and the cage could be exchanged easily and quickly. I purchased this rack so that I could move it from bike to bike and having previously had a seat post rack did not like that much weight hanging off the seat post. While the rack is very easy to take on and off it does not easily transition between bikes. Due to the different geometry you have to use an Allen key to change the position of the support leg clamps. I also used tape to protect the frame and find that the clamps can come loose if you do not have them tight enough or you kick them with your heal. It is stil a very nice rack when combined with the top box.
Easily attachable/detachable
These are convenient if you don't want to permanently install a pannier rack. I commute to work on weekdays and do road rides on weekends so I needed something which I can easily put on and take off in between those rides. This rack is compatible with the T-ONE T-BG01 which I also bought. Make sure to cover your rear stays and seat post with duct tape and/or rubber like a piece if tyre tube to avoid scratches. Don't use if you have a carbon frame! My bike has alloy frame but came with carbon seat post so had to replace seat post with alloy type.
