Chris B.It is hard to find a torque wrench that is up to the task of accurately tightening fasteners on today’s high tech bikes. Carbon and light alloy components are very easy to damage and require very low torque values. Most torque wrenches are inaccurate below 20% of their maximum value and many don’t even go down to the lowest values needed. According to the calibration certificate that came with this one it should be one of the best in the range needed for modern bikes. What I didn’t like so much about this tool were the flimsy feel of the plastic handle, the imprecise feel of the ratchet head, which also seems a bit small for the maximum torque value, and the useless and confusing memory system, which keeps overwriting your previous settings. These are small points compared to the usefulness of a tool with this adjustment range though. I would recommend this to anyone working on bikes valued in their thousands. It may save you a lot of money.
