Terence W.These allow alternate hand positions while riding to alleviate discomfort. The end bars give you a more natural hand position for climbing, making it more comfortable to pull up on hard climbs. Quality is nice, fit is very good, price is similar to other hand grips that don't have the bar ends. On the downside, the rubber on the palm rest is a little stiff, so may not be as comfortable at the tail end of a long ride. Also the bar end portion is a little short, making you rest your fourth and pinkie fingers over the hard plastic end caps. They're not ergonomically shaped like the rest of the grip. Still, a great replacement for handlebar grips that are worn, or a good choice if you're investigating alternatives.
